We flew from Grand Rapids to Chicago (a rough flight into the windy city). Then flew from Chicago to Beijing (which was fine considering the amount of sleep we got). Got into Beijing, found our friend Ming and hopped onto a flight to Zhangjiajie. We were welcomed by the orphanage staff.

From there, we hopped onto a bus and drove 3 1/2 hours into Jishou where we were welcomed by some good old American food.

Then to our hotel for some much needed sleep.

We have all of our luggage packed, and now we're just basically counting the hours until we leave. We were ready a little bit early, but it's hard not to be when you're this excited!
